History of T-Shirt Art Contest

Since 2011, SMILE (Samantha Makes It A Little Easier) has held a 5K Run/Walk to raise funds and awareness for children who have been impacted by a life-threatening condition. In honor of Samantha Trost’s (organization's namesake) love for art, SMILE holds an Annual SMILE 5K T-shirt Art Contest and the winner’s art becomes the design for the race t-shirt. Be part of this year’s contest by entering your artwork to be displayed at the this year's event and social media outlets. The winner will be award a $100.00 Gift Card and the artwork will be used on the event t-shirt.

Guideline for Concept Artwork Submission

1. Limited to one submission per contestant.

2. Design must include:

• "5k" and "1-mile"

• Year

• Gingerbread/gingersnap themed

3. ​Limited to 2 colors (t-shirt color can be specified in order to use "empty space" as a third color).
